While earlier Greek Row houses had been made of wood and boasted huge porches, this brick structure established a new trend for the entire neighborhood. "It's architecturally an innovative work," says Johnston. "With its uneclectic design, brick construction and the strong horizontality of its projecting roofline, it has a strong Frank Lloyd Wright quality."
